What to Expect on This Special Evening
Our celebration will begin with a brief moment of reflection and faith as we honor the covenant God has already begun in our marriage. Following this, the bride will be lovingly presented by her parents, and together we will share a short, prayer-filled exchange that reflects the sacred commitment already made before Him.
After the ceremony, we’ll gather at the table for an evening of warmth, storytelling, and joy. Some of the people closest to us will offer prepared toasts, moments of laughter, memories from our long-distance years, and reflections that have shaped our journey.
We hope the evening reflects intimacy, gratitude, and the beauty of gathering with those who have supported and prayed for us. Above all, we desire that this celebration honors God. Our marriage belongs to Him, and even as we celebrate together, the focus of this day, and our covenant, is Jesus.
Where
The Laurel Brasserie
At The Grand America Hotel
Our celebration will be held in a place dear to the bride, a cozy SLC spot she has long visited for creative inspiration, chocolate croissants, tea, and its beautiful ambiance. Over time, it also became a special place for both David & Elizabeth during their trips to SLC, a small refuge where God met them with peace, clarity, and grace throughout their long-distance journey.
Now, this space will hold an even sweeter memory, as we gather here to honor the covenant God has begun and celebrate His goodness surrounded by those we love.
